With the victory, Northeast Guilford upgrades its record to 5-13 on the year. The Rams travel to High Point Central (High Point, NC) to face the Bison in a 3A Mid-State match on Friday, January 31. The Bison enter the match with a record of 0-18. High Point Central lost 52-8 in their recent league match against Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC)

The Cavaliers now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chatham Central for a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina match on Tuesday, February 4. Cummings will face a Bears squad coming off a 66-30 league win over Graham (Graham, NC). The Bears record now stands at 10-6.
