In Thursday's non-league contest, the host West Branch Warriors basketball team scored a good 56-38 triumph over the Curwensville Golden Tide.

The Warriors (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Union (Mount Union, PA). The Trojans go into the non-league contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Mount Union was topped by Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA), 68-31, in a non-league contest.
