In Thursday's league test, the Dysart Demons (El Mirage, AZ) basketball squad trounced the host Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks (Maricopa, AZ), by a score of 74-21.

Next, the Demons encounter the Yuma Criminals (Yuma, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon test, on Friday, January 31. Dysart will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record. The Criminals come into the test with a 10-4 record after their 49-36 league win over Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ).

The Golden Hawks (8-14) will now prepare for their test against Cortez (Phoenix, AZ). The Colts come into the 4A Black Canyon test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Cortez bounced Tempe (Tempe, AZ), 48-45, in a league test.
