Illinois High School Basketball - Dwight overwhelms Putnam County

The Dwight Trojans basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Putnam County Panthers to 28 in the Trojans league triumph on Thursday.
The Trojans now have a 14-11 record. They play next when they host Newark for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1.
With the loss, Putnam County falls to 5-21 on the campaign. The Panthers host Marquette (Ottawa, IL) to confront the Crusaders in a Tri-County game on Monday, February 3. The Crusaders go into the game with a record of 15-9.
