The East Central Eagles defeated the visiting Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars basketball squad by a final score of 52-39 in Thursday's non-league outing.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] Huskies (Isle, MN) in a A Section 5 outing, on Tuesday, February 4. East Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Huskies come into the outing with a 5-14 record after their 61-15 non-league loss to Braham (Braham, MN).

The Jaguars (1-18) will now prepare for their outing against Denfeld (Duluth, MN). The Hunters come into the non-league outing with a 5-15 record.
