Wabeno/Laona Rebels (Wabeno, WI) fans went home pleased Thursday as they observed their basketball team overcome the host Florence Bobcats (Florence, WI), 50-33 in a league challenge.

The Rebels (9-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Crandon (Crandon, WI). The Cardinals come into the Northern Lakes challenge with a 14-3 record.

In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Norway Knights (Norway, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 3. Florence will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 43-33 non-league win over North Central (Powers, MI).
