Ohio High School Basketball - Fostoria nudges Lake

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Fostoria Redmen (Fostoria, OH) and the visiting Lake Flyers (Millbury, OH), observed Fostoria's basketball team edge Lake by a score of 51-48.

The Redmen (8-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Arcadia (Arcadia, OH). The Redskins come into the non-league challenge with a 14-5 record. In their last challenge, Arcadia edged Riverdale (Mt. Blanchard, OH), 41-29, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Flyers encounter the Evergreen Vikings (Metamora, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 3. Lake will attempt to improve on its 7-13 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 57-36 league loss to Bryan (Bryan, OH).
