The Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL), 84-28 in Thursday's league bout.
The Golden Warriors now possess a 22-4 record. They play next when they host Quincy for a Western Big 6 bout on Saturday, February 1. Sterling will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 55-54 league win over Galesburg (Galesburg, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 15-8.
With the loss, Geneseo falls to 5-18 on the campaign. The Maple leafs travel to Central (Burlington, IL) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1.
