The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Stryker Panthers (Stryker, OH) and the visiting Hilltop Cadets (West Unity, OH), observed Stryker's basketball team knock off Hilltop by a score of 31-23.

The Panthers (8-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Edon (Edon, OH). The Bombers come into the Buckeye Border challenge with a 5-13 record. In their last challenge, Edon dropped by North Central (Pioneer, OH), 45-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cadets encounter the Edgerton Bulldogs (Edgerton, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Hilltop will attempt to improve on its 16-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 47-46 league loss to Fairview (Sherwood, OH).
