Virginia High School Basketball - J.I. Burton routs Holston

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting J.I. Burton Black Raiders basketball team scored a big 58-11 triumph over the Holston Cavaliers.
The Black Raiders (13-1) will now prepare for their contest against Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA). The Pioneers go into the Cumberland contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Thomas Walker smashed Clinch (Eidson, TN), 51-14, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the Honaker Tigers (Honaker, VA) in a Hogoheegee contest, on Friday, January 31. Holston will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 16-1 record after their 48-21 league win over Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA).
