California High School Basketball - Mt. Pleasant holds off Independence

The Mt. Pleasant Cardinals basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Independence 76ers to 46 in the Cardinals league triumph on Thursday.

The Cardinals now possess a 2-17 record. They play next when they host Lincoln for a Blossom Valley - Almaden Valley game on Thursday, February 6.

With the loss, Independence falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The 76ers travel to Oak Grove (San Jose, CA) to confront the Eagles in a Blossom Valley - Almaden Valley game on Tuesday, February 4.
