Virginia High School Basketball - Potomac Falls crushes Independence

January 30, 2025: Ashburn, VA

The Potomac Falls Panthers (Sterling, VA) basketball crushed the host Independence (Ashburn, VA), 60-18 in Thursday's league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 15-4 record. They play next when they host Riverside for a Potomac bout on Tuesday, February 4. Potomac Falls will play a Ram team coming off a 43-38 league win over Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA). The Ram record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Independence falls to 5-13 on the campaign. The travel to Lightridge (Aldie, VA) to play the Bolts in a Potomac bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Bolts go into the bout with a record of 14-4. Lightridge won 54-48 in their recent league bout against Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA)
