The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Vance County Vipers (Henderson, NC) and the host J.F. Webb Warriors (Oxford, NC), observed Vance County's basketball team overwhelm J.F. Webb by a score of 60-32.

The Vipers (14-4) will now prepare for their bout against Carrboro (Carrboro, NC). The Jaguars go into the 2A/3A Northern Lakes bout with a 9-5 record. In their last bout, Carrboro crushed Southern School of Energy and Sustainability (Durham, NC), 52-48, in a league bout.

With the loss, J.F. Webb falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Warriors host South Granville (Creedmoor, NC) to play the Vikings in a 2A/3A Northern Lakes bout on Friday, January 31. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 5-11. South Granville lost 69-35 in their recent league bout against Vance County (Henderson, NC)
