The Kasson-Mantorville Komets basketball squad (Kasson, MN), was nudged 53-52 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Lourdes Eagles (Rochester, MN)
With the victory, Lourdes advances its record to 12-9 on the year. The Eagles host Chatfield (Chatfield, MN) to meet the Gophers in a AA Section 1 battle on Saturday, February 1. The Gophers enter the battle with a record of 9-12. Chatfield won 78-43 in their recent league battle against St. Charles (St. Charles, MN)
The Komets now own a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cannon Falls for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 4. Kasson-Mantorville will meet a Bombers squad coming off a 75-30 non-league loss to Goodhue (Goodhue, MN). The Bombers record now stands at 7-16.
