The Valley City Hi-Liners nipped the visiting Kindred Vikings basketball squad by a final score of 53-52 in Thursday's league outing.
Next, the Hi-Liners face the Devils Lake Firebirds (Devils Lake, ND) in a non-league outing, on Monday, February 3. Valley City will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The Firebirds enter the outing with a 14-4 record after their 50-49 non-league win over Grand Forks Central (Grand Forks, ND).
The Vikings (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Northern Cass (Hunter, ND). The Jaguars enter the A Region 1 outing with a 7-10 record. In their last outing, Northern Cass was nipped by Central Cass (Casselton, ND), 63-57, in a league outing.
