The Madera Coyotes basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting McLane Highlanders to 27 in the Coyotes league triumph on Thursday.

The Coyotes now have a 6-15 record. They play next when they travel to Sunnyside for a North Yosemite game on Tuesday, February 4. Madera will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 52-39 league win over Sanger West (Fresno, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-12.

With the loss, McLane falls to 6-17 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Porterville (Porterville, CA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 6-16. Porterville won 35-26 in their recent league game against Golden West (Visalia, CA)
