Virginia High School Basketball - Manassas Park overwhelmed by Meridian

In Thursday's league test, the Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Manassas Park Cougars (Manassas Park, VA), by a score of 69-14.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Millbrook Pioneers (Winchester, VA) in a Northwestern test, on Friday, January 31. Meridian will attempt to improve on its 12-3 season record. The Pioneers come into the test with a 11-6 record after their 46-26 league win over Liberty (Bealeton, VA).

The Cougars (1-13) will now prepare for their test against Fauquier (Warrenton, VA). The Falcons come into the Northwestern test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Fauquier bounced Warren County (Front Royal, VA), 51-35, in a league test.
