The Mountain View Yellowjackets basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Salem Greyhounds to 38 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Thursday.

The Yellowjackets now have a 18-5 record. They play next when they travel to Yellville-Summit for a 3A Region 2 game on Friday, January 31. Mountain View will confront a Panthers team coming off a 54-19 league loss to Valley Springs (Valley Springs, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 12-13.

With the loss, Salem falls to 14-5 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Cave City (Cave City, AR) to confront the Cavemen in a 3A Region 2 game on Friday, January 31. The Cavemen go into the game with a record of 2-17. Cave City lost 62-31 in their recent league game against Melbourne (Melbourne, AR)
