The Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Sangamon Valley/Tri-City Storm to 35 in the Hilltoppers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Hilltoppers now have a 15-6 record. They play next when they host St. Teresa for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4.

With the loss, Sangamon Valley/Tri-City falls to 2-19 on the campaign. The Storm host Nokomis (Nokomis, IL) to confront the Redskins in a MSM game on Monday, February 3. The Redskins go into the game with a record of 21-5. Nokomis lost 63-45 in their recent non-league game against Carrollton (Carrollton, IL)
