The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the North Platte Panthers (Dearborn, MO) and the visiting West Platte Bluejays (Weston, MO), observed North Platte's basketball team knock off West Platte by a score of 60-45.

The Panthers (16-3) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Joseph Christian (St. Joseph, MO). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 1-17 record. In their last challenge, St. Joseph Christian was knocked off by North Andrew (Rosendale, MO), 44-27, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bluejays encounter the South Holt Knights (Oregon, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 3. West Platte will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 1-17 record after their 55-41 league loss to DeKalb (DeKalb, MO).
