The Roosevelt Bears basketball team scored 44 points and limited the host Taylor Griffins to 19 in the Bears league triumph on Thursday.

The Bears now have a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Edsel Ford for a Downriver game on Tuesday, February 4. Roosevelt will confront a Thunderbirds team coming off a 51-49 non-league loss to Inter-City Baptist (Allen Park, MI). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Taylor falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Griffins host Richard (Riverview, MI) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. The Pioneers go into the game with a record of 3-12. Richard won 39-34 in their recent league game against Greenhills (Ann Arbor, MI)
