The St. Benedict at Auburndale Eagles basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting St. Mary's Episcopal Turkeys to 51 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now possess a 10-7 record. They play next when they host Briarcrest Christian for a Division II-AA West game on Friday, January 31. St. Benedict at Auburndale will confront a Saints team coming off a 59-30 league loss to Hutchison (Memphis, TN). The Saints record now stands at 11-8.
With the loss, St. Mary's Episcopal falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Turkeys travel to Briarcrest Christian (Eads, TN) to confront the Saints in a Division II-AA West game on Monday, February 3. The Saints go into the game with a record of 11-8.
