The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV) and the visiting Carson Senators (Carson City, NV), observed Galena's basketball team knock off Carson by a score of 37-17.
The Grizzlies (16-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Reed (Sparks, NV). The Raiders come into the challenge with a 5-11 record. In their last challenge, Reed prevailed over North Valleys (Reno, NV), 36-32, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Senators battle the Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV) in a challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Carson will attempt to improve on its 12-11 season record. The Miners come into the challenge with a 11-10 record after their 34-18 league win over Reno (Reno, NV).
