In Thursday's league contest, the host Walnut Mustangs basketball team scored a good 56-45 triumph over the Diamond Bar Brahmas.
The Mustangs (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Glendora (Glendora, CA). The Tartans go into the contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Glendora topped Claremont (Claremont, CA), 36-31, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Brahmas battle the Claremont Wolfpack (Claremont, CA) in a contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Diamond Bar will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Wolfpack go into the contest with a 7-13 record after their 38-37 league win over Ayala (Chino Hills, CA).
