Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA) and the host Fremont Firebirds (Sunnyvale, CA), saw Milpitas's soccer squad knock off Fremont by a count of 2-0.

The Trojans (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain View (Mountain View, CA). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Mountain View tipped Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
