Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Mingus Marauders (Cottonwood, AZ) and the host Lee Williams Volunteers (Kingman, AZ), saw Mingus's soccer squad hold off Lee Williams by a count of 1-0.

The Marauders (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Flagstaff (Flagstaff, AZ). The Eagles enter the 4A Grand Canyon battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Flagstaff was edged by Prescott (Prescott, AZ), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Volunteers confront the Prescott Badgers (Prescott, AZ) in a 4A Grand Canyon battle, on Thursday, February 6. Lee Williams will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record.
