Minnesota High School Ice Hockey - Stillwater knocks off Woodbury

The Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN) ice hockey trounced the visiting Woodbury Royals (Woodbury, MN), 8-3 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Ponies now own a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to White Bear Lake for a Suburban East outing on Saturday, February 1. Stillwater will encounter a Bears team coming off a 4-4 non-league Minnetonka (Minnetonka, MN). The Bears record now stands at 13-3.
With the defeat, Woodbury moves to 7-12 on the season. The Royals host Mounds View (Arden Hills, MN) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Saturday, February 1. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 3-17. Mounds View lost 9-0 in their recent league outing against Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN)
