In Thursday's league contest, the host Travelers Rest Devildogs basketball team scored a big 54-27 triumph over the Berea Bulldogs.
The Devildogs (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Pickens (Pickens, SC). The Blue Flame go into the contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Pickens smashed Blue Ridge (Greer, SC), 31-21, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Daniel Lions (Central, SC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. Berea will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 37-25 non-league loss to Greer (Greer, SC).
