In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Broughton Capitals basketball team scored a big 74-48 triumph over the Leesville Road Pride.
The Capitals (16-0) will now prepare for their contest against Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC). The Crusaders go into the contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Cardinal Gibbons was trounced by Enloe (Raleigh, NC), 61-45, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Pride confront the Athens Drive Jaguars (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Leesville Road will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Jaguars go into the contest with a 0-14 record after their 39-33 non-league loss to Sanderson (Raleigh, NC).
