North Carolina High School Basketball - East Duplin holds off Southwest Onslow

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host East Duplin Panthers basketball team scored a close 43-40 triumph over the Southwest Onslow Stallions.
The Panthers (13-2) will now prepare for their contest against North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC). The Hawks go into the contest with a 4-8 record.
In their next game, the Stallions confront the Kinston Vikings (Kinston, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. Southwest Onslow will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 7-5 record after their 61-55 non-league loss to North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC).
