In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Eastern Randolph Wildcats basketball team scored a good 78-67 triumph over the Providence Grove Patriots.
The Wildcats (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Wheatmore (Trinity, NC). The Warriors go into the contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Wheatmore topped Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC), 66-40, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots confront the Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Providence Grove will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 12-6 record after their 46-27 non-league win over Uwharrie Charter Academy (Asheboro, NC).
