California High School Basketball - St. Francis bested by North Salinas

North Salinas Vikings (Salinas, CA) followers were in high spirits Thursday as they saw their basketball team beat the host St. Francis Sharks (Watsonville, CA), 80-60 in a league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 14-3 record. They play next when they host Rancho San Juan for a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. North Salinas will play a Trailblazers team coming off a 60-37 league loss to Monte Vista Christian (Watsonville, CA). The Trailblazers record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, St. Francis falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Soledad (Soledad, CA) to play the Aztecs in a bout on Monday, February 3. The Aztecs go into the bout with a record of 10-8. Soledad lost 63-53 in their recent league bout against Greenfield (Greenfield, CA)
