The Santa Rosa Lions basketball team scored 41 points and limited the host Pecos Panthers to 40 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lions now have a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Estancia for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1.
With the loss, Pecos falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Clayton (Clayton, NM) to confront the Yellowjackets in a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. The Yellowjackets go into the game with a record of 0-1.
