The Surry Central Golden Eagles basketball squad (Dobson, NC), was crushed 55-25 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC)
With the victory, West Stokes advances its record to 13-6 on the year. The Wildcats travel to T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC) to meet the Red Raiders in a battle on Friday, January 31. The Red Raiders enter the battle with a record of 12-1.
The Golden Eagles now own a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elkin for a non-league battle on Friday, January 31. Surry Central will meet a Buckin' Elks squad coming off a 42-38 non-league loss to East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Buckin' Elks record now stands at 4-14.
