In Thursday's league outing, the host Maywood CES Wolfpack soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Sotomayor Wolves.

The Wolfpack (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against Maywood Academy (Maywood, CA). The Nighthawks go into the Southern outing with a 6-11 record. In their last outing, Maywood Academy by Torres (Los Angeles, CA), 2-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Wolves confront the Elizabeth Bulldogs (Cudahy, CA) in a Southern outing, on Monday, February 3. Sotomayor will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 3-10 record after their 4-0 league loss to Marquez (Huntington Park, CA).
