The Stanton Vikings basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the visiting Griswold Tigers to 28 in the Vikings non-league victory on Monday.

The Vikings now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fremont-Mills for a Corner contest on Tuesday, February 1. Stanton will battle a Knights team coming off a 58-35 league loss to Sidney (Sidney, IA). The Knights record now stands at 6-10.

The Tigers (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against East Mills (Malvern, IA). The come into the non-league contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, East Mills was routed by West Harrison (Mondamin, IA), 76-54, in a non-league contest.
