South Carolina High School Basketball - Philip Simmons tops Woodland

Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Philip Simmons Iron Horses (Charleston, SC) and the host Woodland Wolverines (Dorchester, SC), saw Philip Simmons's basketball squad knock off Woodland by a count of 69-53.

With the victory, Philip Simmons upgrades its record to 21-3 on the campaign. The Iron Horses host Ridgeland/Hardeeville (Ridgeland, SC) to play the Jaguars in a AA Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 1-9.

Next up, the Wolverines play the Burke Bulldogs (Charleston, SC) in a AA Region 6 challenge, on Wednesday, February 2. Woodland will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record.
