Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mount Union can't hold off Glendale

The Glendale Vikings basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Mount Union Trojans to 36 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Monday.

The Vikings now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Branch for a Moshannon Valley contest on Thursday, February 3. Glendale will battle a Warriors team coming off a 46-21 league loss to Williamsburg (Williamsburg, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-7.

The Trojans (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Forbes Road (Waterfall, PA). The enter the non-league contest with a 1-13 record. In their last contest, Forbes Road was nudged by Tussey Mountain (Saxton, PA), 56-36, in a league contest.
