With the win, Sierra Linda upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Bulldogs host Carl Hayden Community (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Falcons in a 5A Metro bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 4-10.

Next up, the Knights play the Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ) in a 5A Metro bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Metro Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Stampede go into the bout with a 15-1 record after their 73-41 non-league win over Buckeye (Buckeye, AZ).
