Massachusetts High School Basketball - Agawam knocked off by West Springfield

The West Springfield Terriers basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Agawam Brownies to 59 in the Terriers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Terriers now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Minnechaug Regional for a Suburban - North contest on Friday, February 3. West Springfield will battle a Falcons team coming off a 46-44 non-league win over Tantasqua Regional (Fiskdale, MA). The Falcons record now stands at 8-7.
The Brownies (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Pittsfield (Pittsfield, MA). The Generals enter the Suburban - North contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Pittsfield ran past Wahconah Regional (Dalton, MA), 71-68, in a non-league contest.
