Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC) and the visiting Airport Eagles (West Columbia, SC), saw South Aiken's basketball squad overcome Airport by a tally of 57-43.

With the victory, South Aiken improves its record to 9-12 on the campaign. The Thoroughbreds travel to Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC) to confront the Mustangs in a AAAA Region 4 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 16-5. Midland Valley won 63-47 in their recent league challenge against Aiken (Aiken, SC)

Next up, the Eagles confront the North Augusta Yellow Jackets (North Augusta, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Airport will attempt to improve on its 7-15 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a 24-0 record after their 70-62 non-league win over Keenan (Columbia, SC).
