The Albany Hornets basketball team (Albany, LA), was routed 60-27 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Amite Warriors (Amite, LA)
The Warriors now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sumner for a 3A District 7 battle on Thursday, February 2. Amite will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 100-28 non-league loss to Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA). The Cowboys record now stands at 6-13.
The Hornets (1-15) will now prepare for their battle against Bogalusa (Bogalusa, LA). The Lumberjacks come into the 3A District 7 battle with a 0-12 record. In their last battle, Bogalusa was routed by Amite (Amite, LA), 73-59, in a league battle.
