Alsea Wolverines (Alsea, OR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Crow Cougars (Eugene, OR), 52-15 in a league bout.

With the victory, Alsea upgrades its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Eddyville (Eddyville, OR) to play the Eagles in a 1A Mountain West bout on Thursday, February 2. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 3-12. Eddyville won 38-35 in their recent league bout against Mapleton (Mapleton, OR)

Next up, the Cougars play the Triangle Lake Lakers (Blachly, OR) in a 1A Mountain West bout, on Thursday, February 2. Crow will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Lakers come into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 57-19 league win over McKenzie (Finn Rock, OR).
