The Thurston Eagles basketball team scored 81 points and restricted the visiting Annapolis Cougars to 70 in the Eagles league win on Tuesday.

With the win, Thurston upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to Garden City (Garden City, MI) to play the Cougars in a Western Wayne bout on Friday, February 3. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-11. Garden City lost 62-36 in their recent league bout against Redford Union (Redford, MI)

Next up, the Cougars play the Crestwood Chargers (Dearborn Heights, MI) in a Western Wayne bout, on Friday, February 3. Annapolis will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 53-50 league win over Melvindale (Melvindale, MI).
