In Tuesday's league outing, the Whitharral Panthers (Whitharral, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Anton Bulldogs (Anton, TX), by a count of 69-40.

The Panthers (11-7) will now prepare for their outing against Whiteface (Whiteface, TX). The Antelopes go into the 1A Region I District 7 outing with a 20-2 record. In their last outing, Whiteface smashed Anton (Anton, TX), 82-55, in a league outing.

The Bulldogs now hold a 1-13 record. They play next when they travel to Amherst for a 1A Region I District 7 outing on Friday, February 3. Anton will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 59-37 league win over Cotton Center (Cotton Center, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-6.
