West Harrison Hawkeyes (Mondamin, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ar-We-Va Rockets (Westside, IA), 68-42 in a league bout.

With the win, West Harrison upgrades its record to 15-1 on the season. The Hawkeyes travel to Whiting (Whiting, IA) to play the Warriors in a Western Valley - South bout on Friday, February 3. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-13. Whiting lost 60-14 in their recent non-league bout against Omaha Christian Academy (Omaha, NE)

Next up, the Rockets play the Logan-Magnolia Panthers (Logan, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 2. Ar-We-Va will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-13 record after their 60-52 league win over Audubon (Audubon, IA).
