St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA), 48-26 in a league bout.

With the win, St. John upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Eagles travel to White Castle (White Castle, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A District 8 bout on Friday, February 3. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 18-9. White Castle won 62-51 in their recent non-league bout against Woodlawn-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA)
