In Tuesday's league outing, the Providence Christian Academy Storm (Lilburn, GA) basketball squad edged the visiting Athens Academy Spartans (Athens, GA), by a count of 66-60.
The Storm (20-3) will now prepare for their outing against Fellowship Christian (Roswell, GA). The Paladins go into the AA Region 8 outing with a 1-19 record. In their last outing, Fellowship Christian was tipped by East Jackson (Commerce, GA), 70-53, in a league outing.
The Spartans now hold a 13-9 record. They play next when they host Banks County for a AA Region 8 outing on Friday, February 3. Athens Academy will clash with a Leopards squad coming off a 89-62 league win over Union County (Blairsville, GA). The Leopards record now stands at 16-7.
