Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Ballard Bombers (Huxley, IA) and the visiting Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, IA), saw Ballard's basketball squad knock off Gilbert by a count of 66-51.
With the victory, Ballard upgrades its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Bombers travel to North Polk (Alleman, IA) to play the Comets in a Raccoon River challenge on Friday, February 3. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 12-4. North Polk lost 59-54 in their recent league challenge against Winterset (Winterset, IA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays (Bondurant, IA) in a Raccoon River challenge, on Friday, February 3. Gilbert will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record.
