The Benton Tigers basketball team (Benton, PA), was routed 67-23 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Northwest Area Rangers (Shickshinny, PA)
The Rangers now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sullivan County for a Midd-Penn battle on Friday, February 3. Northwest Area will battle a Griffins team coming off a 59-42 league win over Millville (Millville, PA). The Griffins record now stands at 12-7.
The Tigers (1-12) will now prepare for their battle against North Penn-Liberty (Liberty, PA). The Mountie come into the non-league battle with a 9-9 record. In their last battle, North Penn-Liberty was routed by Sayre (Sayre, PA), 55-43, in a league battle.
